Real Steel

Came back from watching Real Steel an hour ago and wanted to blog about it while my thoughts are still clear in my mind. Overall, it was a fun film to watch. Hugh Jackman and Dakota Goyo were so cute together. There was that father and son chemistry between them that made you believe in their story. Special effects were great. Those robots moved graciously. The story line was somewhat typical where irresponsible dad gets scolded by more mature son, and realizes in the end he was wrong... but it worked for this film. I love how the robots were incorporated into the human story line without getting off track nor corny. I caught myself grinning in a lot of the scenes. And in tears in a couple. Its a nice feel good movie.
