10 Honest Things
I've just been tagged by Jannie. Yay! Thanks a lot for giving me something to write about tonight. My blog needs content!!
Here are the simple rules about this tag. Tell your readers 10 things about you that they may or may not know, but are true. Tag 10 people with the award, and be sure to let them know they've been tagged (a quick comment on their blog will do). Don't forget to link back to the blogger who tagged you.
1) I'm a gamer. I devoted a lot of my time in the beginning of our boyfriend / girlfriend relationship playing games. He & I spent 2 years playing Guild Wars, a MMORPG (massive multiplayer Online Role Playing Game). Then I switched over to World of Warcraft when I got my iMac because Guild Wars isn't supported on Mac Operating System. I convinced the husband to start playing with me when I couldn't finish certain quests on my own. So, he switched over to the darker side. I recently took time off playing WoW and started playing other facebook games like Yoville, Restaurant City, Farm Town, and Barn Buddy. When I'm not infront of the computer playing, you will find me playing other games on my iphone like Tetris, Bubble Breaker, Scramble, etc. The list goes on.
2) I am the only daughter. I have three older brothers. I'm the only girl and the youngest which makes me a spoiled brat. =)
3) I hate doing laundry. I would rather clean the bathroom than do laundry. I don't like folding clothes, pairing socks (which usually loses a pair), separating whites and darks, and drying. I don't know why I don't like it. I just know that I try to put off that chore for as long as I can. or get the husband to do it. lol.
4) My husband and I got married on our 4th year anniversary. Isn't that sweet?
5) My first world of warcraft toon was a female gnome with red pigtails named Laydeemonic. Since then, whenever I have to create a profile / character on any game, I name them Laydee and they usually have red pigtails to mimic Laydeemonic. But no one can ever compare.
6) I've been active on the online blogging scene long before xanga, blogger, friendster, myspace, and livejournal were born. I remember writing journals manually with html codes and designing my website on notepad. Things weren't so easy back then.
7) I'm a Twilight fan. I didn't think I would be. When I first saw the Twilight posters, I thought it would be another cheesy vampire chick flick not worth watching. But when I read the books, I became a fan. I already watched the movie 4 or 5 times. So far.
8) I'm scared of roller coasters. The last time I rode on one was at Universal studio's Mummy ride. The ride was dark and there was no way of knowing when you'll drop, reverse, or turn. It terrified me and I swore I would never go on another coaster ride again.
9) I'm fond of dogs. Who doesn't? I want to own a hypoallergenic kind like a maltese, shih tzu, or toy poodle.
10) I'm not a good swimmer. I'd rather fly than go on a cruise.
The End. It took me a little more than an hour to come up with 10 facts about myself. Now, its my turn to tag...... I'm only tagging 6 because I don't know many bloggers.

ReplyDeletei'm not very much of a swimmer either. i won't go any deeper than 5 ft. in the pool. it's too scary. tetris is fun to play. my phone has brick breaker, so i've been into that too.
it's sweet how you and your hubby ended up getting married on your 1st anniversary. looks like you too have lots in common too with your interest in games. :)

I love Scramble! I sometimes end up sleeping so late because I can't get my hands off the iPod Touch! It's just too addicting! =P
ReplyDeleteAnd I remember uploading my blogs manually using html too! That and designing our pages. I think that's how you can tell an old blogger from one of the new ones... when they don't just blog, they actually design their pages using photoshop and html too. I miss changing layouts. well, actually I have a pending one, that I finished back in April pa. But, JR's not done turning it into a wordpress theme, so it's gonna take a little longer! HAHA!
