HONESTY, the best policy
Beb and i are going to the knicks game this weekend. I was going to surprise him but i was too excited to keep it in the hush hush. hehehehe.
I was late for work again. today was actually later than usual. i came in at 9:15 and my boss wasn't on the phone like he normally is. so i was obligated to tell him why i was late, although he doesn't really care because i am always in the office anyway.
me: "sorry i'm late".
boss: "good morning,D."
me: "the train was delayed."
boss: "don't worry about it."
me: "and i woke up late. the slow train didn't help"
boss: "ohhh that's the reason. i like the honesty."
hehehehe. an hour later, he gave me 2 tickets to the knicks game. it pays off to be honest. hehehee. this is the view from our seats:
