back to work

waking up this morning was a bit harder than i thought it would be. i had set my alarm to 6:15 and i didn't wake up until 6:50 am. i didn't even hear the alarm go off. waaaaaaaaa. although that's still pretty early. i just like to get up and take my time as opposed to rushing off every morning and forgetting my keys or my cell or worst, my metrocard. besides, i love having breakfast with my mom. it's the only time we really talk and catch up.

so beb and i didn't end up going to ikea on friday as we had originally planned. he & i both took the day off to spend some time together. and we did. :-)

the dining out plan didn't work out either. we stayed home instead because my dad threw me a little party. it was meant to be a surprise but my mom called me and spilled the beans.

mom: princess, come home tonight. you're dad is going to surprise you. he's cooking for you.
me: ngekz, that's not a surprise anymore. u juz told me.
mom: oh, baka kc may iba kang plano and you don't come home.

lol.

a couple of hours later, my cousin called to tell me that my dad's going to surprise me and i need to be home by dinner.

lol.

i love them.
