POCKETS FULL OF CHANGE
Remember last year when I had that fashion disaster? Well, a similar incident occured today.
I was right on my daily routine. Get ready for work. Talk to my bebe on the phone while walking to the train station. Read the Metro on the train. Get coffee at cafe metro. And then comes the part where I reach out for my wallet to pay for my coffee....... and i can't find it anywhere in my tiny gap bag.
OMG!!! how embarrassing. the cashier was so nice and she offered to let me go without paying. knowing me, i'd feel guilty if i didn't pay. i always keep a bunch of change in my bag... you know, for emergency reasons. i normally use quarters for parking meters, etc... that's the closest i get to an emergency. 'till now.
coffee came out to $1.25 for a medium cup. i had 5 quarters and then some left overs. i was lucky to bring lunch from home. otherwise, i'd be starving today.
SIGH. i've been so out of it lately. i must be that burnt out.
