GOING REDO
i spent a few hours at the salon on saturday. i initially came in for a hair trim, but ended up staying longer than i expected. i had other things done. as soon as i sat on the chair and saw my self on the mirror, i wanted to change my hair.
so i did.
i got light red copper highlights. some say VERY NICE. a couple said YUCK. i appreciate the YAYS and the NAYS, as long as the NAYS come from extremely close friends or immediate family.

my coworker came over to my desk and made a comment on my hair. she goes on and on about the lightness of the hair and how it didn't match my look. i told her my mom doesn't like it either, yet i could care less because i like it. she still blabs about how i should've gotten a darker red if i really wanted RED or i should've gone BROWN instead. she says it makes me look STRONG. and it's not normal to have a lighter shade of red. I nicely said "i was actually going for that look........ i wanted something different. i wanted a shocker."
i wanted to spit on her face. i shouldn't have to justify my hair change to anyone. especially not to her. LOL. i'm bitter on a manic monday.
