Power Out-age

2 years ago during the NYC blackout, i walked home from work... a gruesome 2 hour walk in the heat. It wasn't fun. Two weeks ago, my neighborhood lost power for about 6 days. I couldn't sleep in the 98 degrees plus humidity nights. No AC. No Lights. No Fan. Nothing to do in the dark.

Today, i received a memo notifying the building tenants that there is a chance that we may lose power within the next hour. it's 100 degrees outside. This isn't going to be fun.

Sigh.
