Me and Harry

Harry leads quite an interesting life. He is the boy who lived. I followed his epic journey in ink and on film. Over the years, i've grown accustomed to him and his friends. He, along with Ron and Hermoine, grew up in front of my very eyes. That probably explains why I'm so drawn into his story. Besides, I didn't just imagine his experience through reading the books. My imagination became a reality through the installments of its movies.

I stayed up until 3AM last night finishing the final chapter, Deathly Hollows. I had to know what happens to the dark lord and harry. I had to know it all. and I did.

I was very content with the outcome, how it ended.

I thought after reading the last book I would be able to forget Harry Potter. But i was wrong. His story remains in my heart. I am touched with his courage, his kindness and his love. Each book leaves some kind of fantasy mark. I can't really explain what it is. I don't understand how each book, each movie imprints an ecstatic memory of Harry Potter.

I really can't explain how a fictional character like Harry can have such a strong impact on me. I still think about him, his friends, his family. I don't know why.

But i do.
