Jollibee in NY - 4 Stars

I give this place a 4 star because of the fact that it's JOLLIBEE, the ultimate fast food restaurant for Filipinos, and this branch is the first for the East Coast and maybe the staff is unaware of how things work around here.

Fast Food means Fast Service.

I think for an entire month people waited in line outside for hours just to get inside and then wait some more when your in to order your food. And more waiting to receive your order. I know. We experienced this on its third opening day.

It was pretty wild having to wait out in the cold, keeping ourselves warm with dunkin donuts coffee, not realizing that time has passed by and the line wasn't moving fast enough. When you're with good company, everything else is a blur. But when hunger strikes, it becomes a different scenario. Everything else is in the way of food for the tummy. We waited 4 hours to taste chicken joy and rice.

Was it worth the wait? Maybe. The wait got us really hungry and we could just eat anything at that point.

Last Sunday, we went back to get a bucket of chicken joy for Myk's family. A 12 piece bucket cost $27.00. Too expensive, if you ask me. We also ordered 5 yumburgers at $1.89 each (that's without the veggies). If you want to add lettuce and tomato, you need to cough up another $2.00 for it. It's really pricey and the service is really slow!!
