Friendly Advice

I was out with my friends on Friday night chitchatting over tea, coffee, and hot chocolate. They suggested that I document my pregnancy. You know, take pictures, post blogs, make videos, etc.  Some of the stories I shared with them were pretty funny. Most I haven't read on any pregnancy forums nor heard from any friends who were once pregnant.  Maybe, some of the stories are just too gross to share with anyone but truth of the matter is, it happens.  Pregnancy is really not a pretty thing. The body goes through so many changes both physically and emotionally.

I can't guarantee that I'll be able to blog everyday but I will try to document some details of my pregnancy, especially when I have pictures to post.

I still don't understand how my appetite works. Sometimes, I'm not too hungry. But Friday was a different story. I basically ate like I've never had food for days.  Maybe I was so hungry because the first meal I had at breakfast ... came out before I could even gulp the last half of the cheese sandwich.  During my first trimester, I was all for cheese. I had cheese with basically everything I ate. This time around, the baby doesn't like it.  So throughout the day, I was always in the kitchen searching for food.  I even had a fulfilling dinner plus a small piece of baklava for dessert.  When I was out with the girlfriends, I had a donut.  And around 1:30 AM, i was back in the kitchen looking for something to chow down.  I found a banana that kept my tummy quiet for the rest of the night and I was able to sleep 30 minutes later.

If I keep going like this, I'll look like a whale.
