Play ground

Matty loves the playground.  And I love taking him there.  I can see how happy he gets whenever I tell him we’re going to the park.  He gets really excited and the facial expressions he makes are priceless.

We usually go the park every morning. That way I get a little exercise in from brisk walking while he gets play time and Vitamin D from the morning sun. It’s killing two birds with one stone.




Of all the things to do in this playground he loves the swing best.  You can see his big smiles even with this crappy phone camera.  We basically spend 80% of the time on the swings.  He can’t go on the slides alone yet.  I still have to help him. He likes that too, just not as much as the swing.  There’s also something about the other swings that need to move along him when he’s on.  I don’t exactly know what it is, but he seems to find a lot of excitement from other swings moving.

Why am I writing an entry about this? Because we missed going to the park today.  I don’t even remember why we didn’t go this morning.  I think I got lazy. LOL.  Maybe this entry will remind me of the rewarding smiles Matty gives when he’s at the park.  We must keep going before summer ends.
