i believe in miracles

I come from a Christian family and was taught a Christian way of living. Prayers were constantly said. Sunday churches were never missed. Church gatherings were always attended. Bible readings done. I even joined the church choir.

And i guess those things came in handy when my faith was tested. It was only then when I realized the value of family in a Christian home and the power of prayers.

A few months ago, my family heard the terrifying news that shook up the clan. The first time cancer was uttered became the first time the family held on to each other. It's also the first time we prayed together in a long while. I felt the love that surrounded us, not just by the love that we have for each other, but the love that people showered us. Together, along with other people and intercessors, we prayed for wisdom, guidance, strength, understanding, healing, etc ...

Two weeks ago, we paid the doctor a visit and he told us some good news: the tumor's gone, all of it. I knew it was HIS miracle that made that happen.

I know life gets a wee bit hard at times. When doubt settles in, i catch myself praying .. not just for myself, but for other people as well. Because i witnessed a miracle ... and i want to share that miracle with others.
